OUR SCHOOL

Grace Lutheran Primary School is owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia, Queensland District. It is a benevolent institution, open to persons who support the philosophy of the school, without discrimination as to class, race or belief.  A School Committee of eleven elected members manages the school. The committee appoints the principal who in turn appoints teachers and support staff as full-time or part-time employees. The school began in 1971 at Redeemer Lutheran Church Hall, McNaughton Street, Redcliffe and moved to the present site in 1973. The school currently caters for up to 430 students in Transition to Year 7. There are two classes at each year level..

 At the beginning of 2006, the ‘Year Before Year 1’ commenced on the school site. Initially called ‘Transition’, the year level will be called ‘Prep’ from 2007.

 Grace Lutheran Primary School is located at 38 Maine Road, Clontarf on the Redcliffe Peninsula in South-East Queesland.
